Project Information
Natural Play were commissioned to design and build a nursery school garden for Brynnau Primary. We had a blank canvas with the area being totally unused. We began by discussing the needs of the staff and children at the school, we went away and designed for them a clean, fresh and safe play space.
We wanted to give the children as many play areas as possible, though the area was not very large, so we designed a sand play pit, an incredible oak slab outside eating and working space, a stage, an arched bridge crossing over a dry white pebble river bed, chunky log seats and stepping trail and an open deck which led to a play house. The area was completed with a deep pile artificial grass that gave great texture to the overall garden design.
